The Bioscope is proud to partner in presenting THE HORROR IN OUR HEARTS, a monthly film club for the horror loving community to meet and connect over the most influential films of the genre. Best enjoyed in a room with others, horror films allow us to confront and even appreciate the unsettling, the macabre, and the downright terrifying.
The focus of this event is to keep the experience going after the credits roll: stay after each film to meet others, take part in some games, and decide which films you want to see next and which causes you want to support. That’s right, as part of building a community, The Horror in our Hearts aims to give back to the community by choosing a new organisation or cause each month and supporting it through a percentage of ticket sales and all profits from the merchandise stand.

FRI 21 Aug 8pm: THE LOVE WITCH BOOK NOW. As voted for by the community to celebrate Women’s day – The Love Witch, directed by Anna Biller,explores sexual desire, gender roles, and how traditional views on romance can be destructive. Released in 2016, the old school techni-colour look exposes how romanticising tradition can blind us to its faults.
