The Bioscope is proud to once again partner with Alliance Française in Johannesburg to bring you the best in French Cinema every month from Sep 2025 until July 2026.
The Joburg French Cine Club will be on the second Thursday of every month.
Please join us from 6:30pm where your R100 ticket will include a complementary glass of wine. The film will then be screened at 7pm and will feature a short introduction.

THURS 9 Apr 7pm: Petit Pays (Small Country) BOOK NOW. A touching childhood set during the conflict in Rwanda between ethnicities Hutu and Tutsi – adapted from the book of Gaël Faye.
THURS 14 May 7pm: Rouge (Red Soil) BOOK NOW. An official selction for the Cannes Film Festival in 2020. An occupational nurse attempts to blow the whistle on toxic waste leaking from a chemical plant.
