Her Cinema Club is a space to celebrate women filmmakers. Presented by The Emotional Club, an organisation founded by women, for women in the film industry, our online community exchanges film recommendations and meets to watch one of those movies in-person. In line with The Emotional Club’s goals, special focus is placed on creating personal connections through cinema.

THURS 29 OCT 7pm: The Substance (2024) BOOK NOW. Her Cinema Club creates a space for women to challenge dominant narratives and shape conversations around cinema’s future. Screening The Substance advances this commitment through horror, using unsettling bodies and fractured realities to question the patriarchal expectations that shape women’s experiences.
