The Bioscope is proud to present screenings as part of the 25th edition of The Italian Film Focus, the largest showcase of contemporary Italian Films In Africa. The screenings are in collaboration with the Ministry Of Culture of Italy MIC, The Embassy Of Italy in South Africa, The Consulate of Italy in Cape Town, and The Italian Cultural Institute In Pretoria.
Tickets are R80. The IIC will be offering complimentary refreshments at the screenings.
All films will be screened with english subtitles.

FRI 28 Nov 2:30pm: The Last One For The Road BOOK NOW. From the Cannes Film Festival comes a touching comedy and Italian box office success featuring one of the country’s most acclaimed new actors, Filippo Scotti who will be in attendance for the screening.
SAT 29 Nov 2pm: U.S Palmese BOOK NOW. Winner of Best Comedy at the Globi d’Oro 2025, this charming film takes place in Palmi, a small town in Calabria, where Don Vincenzo, a brilliant and retired farmer, comes up with the crazy idea of reviving the local football team.
SUN 30 Nov 1:30pm: La Grazia BOOK NOW. By Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino, one of the most acclaimed films in competition at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, starring the iconic Toni Servillo, winner of the Best Actor Award. A widowed Italian president faces moral crises over euthanasia legislation and pardoning killers while grappling with his late wife’s infidelity during his final months in office.
